This event will bring together some of the best pointing breeds in the region to compete for top honors and the first annual Pacific Northwest Cup. Please join us and experience the rich traditions of the sport.

It is open to all UKC Pointing Breeds and features a variety of walking field trials and hunt tests to challenge handlers and dogs alike. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the run for The Cup, where the winners of Gun and Open classes go head-to-head in a thrilling Sunday runoff.

What’s Happening: Liberated Field Trials & Tests featuring:

  • OPEN Braces: $80/dog
  • OPEN Solo: $80/dog
  • GUN Solo: $80/dog
  • GUN w/ TAN: $95/dog
  • TAN: $55/dog
  • WRT: $55/dog

Chukars will be used for trials (bobwhite quail may substitute as backup). Note: Unless otherwise noted, no GPS/Locator collars will be allowed.

Compete for The Cup: Dogs entered in the Open and Gun classes are eligible to compete for The Cup in a thrilling Sunday afternoon runoff. Winners will earn bragging rights and recognition, though The Cup holds no official UKC affiliation.

Entry Deadline: May 1st, 2026. [Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Trial Chairman.]

Additional Directions to site for water work: From Madras test site turn South on Hwy 97. Turn right onto Tumalo Pl. Turn Left onto Tumalo Rd Continuing to Deschutes Market Rd. Turn Left onto Hamehook Rd. Turn Left onto NE Butler Market Rd. Turn Right onto Butler Market Rd. Turn Right onto Dickey Rd and continue to Erickson Rd. Turn left onto Neff Rd. Take 2nd left from circle onto Alfalfa Market Rd. Continue 4.3 miles. Turn left and cross cattle guard to dirt road 1.0 miles to pond.
